Errors while submitting forms with CSV submissions

GOV.UK Forms saw problems with sending submission emails when a form had CSV attachments enabled.

Between 4:45 pm and 5:33pm on Monday 6 January there were intermittent errors with the GOV.UK Notify, which meant that some users saw errors when trying to submit forms. There may have also been errors for users who tried to download a CSV submission during this time.

If users received an error when downloading a CSV submission, they should retry.

Users will no longer see an error message when they attempt to submit a form on the service.

We believe this incident to be resolved.
